Gjerde

I am Tobias Gjerde, and I was born in 2003 in Norway. My passion for nature photography has lasted well over a decade. Through my imagery, I wish to convey the incredible beauty of nature, and emphasize that what we have left is worth preserving.

A lot of my free time is spent within nature, with my camera by my side. Discovering original and creative approaches to photographing more common wildlife species, fascinates and excites me just as much as experiencing rare and elusive species in my viewfinder.

In 2023, I served in the Norwegian Army as a combat photographer for the Arctic Ranger Battalion, combining my passion for photography with a meaningful military service.

​

In 2024, I became an elected member of Norske Naturfotografer / NN, an association for professional Norwegian nature photographers.
